SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Architect
The SAP BPC Architect will be responsible for successful delivery of functional and technical components of SAP business planning solutions using SAP Business Objects Planning and Consolidations 5.1 thru 7.5.
This role will apply functional and technical knowledge of BPC along with financial planning, budgeting and consolidations business processes to deliver performance management and reporting solutions to Akili clients. The Consultant will form system implementation methodologies during requirements gathering, design, build/test and deployment. Responsibilities include using knowledge of leading practices within the business cycles, including strategic planning, annual budgeting, and periodic projection processes.
Required Skills
· Integration of BPC with accounting and finance processes and organizations
· Business unit planning & analysis (FP&A) experience
· Process design / modeling experience
· Working with business team to interpret requirements
· Familiar with best practices in planning & performance management
· System administration design, including month end and annual planning calendar procedures
· SOX compliance in BPC
· Security design
· User mapping
· Control design and statements creation
· Understanding of BPC system design principles, including:
o Application design (structure and dimensionality)
o BPC hierarchies and properties
o Create / deliver training
o Integrate Planning and Consolidation process design
o Report design and development concepts
Experience with the following technical configuration / setup components of the SAP BPC tool include:
· Requirement design and interpretation
· BPC Administration experience and Web Admin
· Create and maintain Applications and Application Sets
· Dimensions hierarchies and properties
· Handling complex scenarios in BPC
· Account transformation
· Logic and Optimization Experience
· Dimension Logic / MDX
· Build / design complex input schedules and reports
This position requires excellent communication skills, ability to interact with senior managers and executives of client companies and a proven track record designing and implementing BPC Solutions. The candidate must be a team player as well as be able to work independently. Readiness to travel up to 50%.
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting or similar business related field and at least 3 years experience in Consolidations and Financial Reporting Process knowledge. MBA is strongly desired along with previous financial planning and analysis experience.

SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW) Architect
SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing (DW) Architect will be responsible for delivering SAP Business Objects solutions. This role requires heavy interaction with the clients and experience in the implementation stages to include requirement definition, data modeling, ETL architecture, reporting/analysis and solution development and deployment. They must be knowledgeable with various RDBMS and data warehousing concepts, possess expert capabilities with report development, ad hoc reporting environments, and have relevant application development experience.
Required Skills
· Implement business intelligence solutions using SAP Business Objects products that meet client business requirements including requirements gathering, data analysis and design, data extraction, transformation and loading of data and the design and development of effective user interfaces
· Integration of Universes with various back ends such as star schema data warehouses, 3rd normal form data warehouses, multidimensional cubes, BPC, etc.
· Experience with setting up user security and access rights including knowledge of active directory
· Ability to do demos during sales cycles or presentations and execute proof of concepts for new customers
· Extensive hands-on experience with relational databases and data modeling
· Strong working knowledge of SQL and query based reporting tools
· Analyze customer requirements and develop proposals of technical solutions including recommendations on selection, architecture, licensing, configuration, sizing and scalability
· Experience with Change Management and Training of customers
· Experience with ETL design, development and best practices
· Understanding of Kimball and Inmon methodologies
· Experience with SAP Business Object Toolset including:
o Data Services, Data Integrator and Data Insight/Quality
o Master Data Management
o Metadata Management
· Experience with Data Warehousing concepts such as:
o Star/Snowflake schema
o Slowly Changing Dimensions
o Difference ODS / Data Mart / EDW
o Data Modeling (3NF or Star/Snowflake)
o ETL: Loading Fact or Dimension Tables
o ETL: Batch job control and optimization
· Experience with the following tools are preferred:
o Crystal Reports
o Web Intelligence
o Xcelcius
o Explorer

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent and at least 3 years of successful ERP experience with Oracle Business Suite, SAP or equivalent systems. MBA is strongly desired along with business intelligence consulting experience.
